About this study
Overcome Death Anxiety is used as part of research conducted by the University of Sydney. The chief investigator is Dr. Rachel Menzies, School of Psychology, The University of Sydney.
Taking part is completely voluntary. You can stop using the program and withdraw from the study at any time, without giving a reason and without any consequences for your relationship with the University of Sydney.
System Requirements
Most pages include a prerecorded audio message from the research team, so you will need headphones or speakers. The program works in all current major browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on computers, tablets and phones. If you cannot play the audio, please update your browser to the latest version.
About the program
Overcome Death Anxiety is a fully automated, self-guided online program that is being evaluated in research. It does not include personal contact with a psychologist, and it is not a replacement for in-person treatment. The feedback you receive within the program is for information purposes only.
Because this program is being researched, we cannot promise that it will reduce your symptoms. Some of the program content deals with death and dying, and you may find parts of it upsetting. You can take a break or stop at any time.
You must be at least 18 years old to take part. The program is not suitable for people with severe depression or who are currently experiencing suicidal thoughts.
